Bob Lehne Memorial Scholarship

Welcome to the Robert (Bob) Lehne Memorial Scholarship Page.  This scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Bob Lehne who passed away in August,  2020.  Bob devoted over 45 years of his life to being a Cardiovascular Perfusionist.  During his career, he helped save countless lives of his patients’ undergoing cardiovascular surgery, ECMO and transplants.  He also mentored and helped educate numerous perfusion students and junior perfusionists during his career at Children’s Memorial Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center, thereby helping future generations effectively and compassionately treat patients.

This scholarship will be awarded to an individual from the Chicagoland area, who demonstrate the passion and enthusiasm to make a difference to the field of cardiovascular perfusion that Bob did during his long and distinguished career.
